Kanna is one of my older characters that I designed. Her theme is a lucky cat. She was designed during the Spring semester. When I made her originally, I had her with four other characters in mind. Her hair is the hardest part of all, with it being sectioned into four parts (two in the front, with one big section in the back, splitting into two).

Though I decided to remove that and just go with big curls. Personality wise, I feel like she would be the kind of person who would annoy the others because of her black and white thinking.

Serena was made to be a background character before deciding I wanted to do an Anthropology-style world. Her theme is a Queen Chess piece, one of her inspirations for her hair design was from the princess in "Slay the Princess". I made her to be a part of a traveling group; this group includes Delilah, and Lenora.

In her redesign, I went with the last sketch but added a veil similar to the first sketch. I also decide for her two looks to be different from each other; with her acting more passive when transform, while being very expressive and hotheaded when she is outside of it.

Sylvia is a part of a pop group in the magical community. She was made when I started to get back into Pokémon and when K-pop demon hunter was all over my feed, so I thought it would be fun to try and mash that together with some of my favorite eeveelutions. While she is inspired by sylveon, I tried to avoid heavily incorporating it into her design so it would be a human version of said Pokémon; Instead making her theme being more of what a stereotypical magical girl would look like mixed with ballet.

I made her and Catherine as half-sisters. I think that she would have joined a bit later than her sister, though not taught by her. She is in a group with Catherine, and Isabelle. Outside of being a magical girl, she would mainly spend her time doing ballet. In her redesign, I tried to incorporate more ballet things, so I changed her shoes to be ballet shoes. I mainly twice her design by changing the placement of a few things and adding things like the sleeves and more ribbons.

Catherine conception is like Slyvia, except it is influenced slightly by glaceon; but I wanted to give her more of an Ice queen design to match her outward attitude towards life. I feel like out of her trio she would spend the most time transformed; because of that she would be a freelance photographer. Along with doing this longer, she is also older than Sylvia, by a couple of years.

When redesigning her, I didn't really change her that much, I just add a bit of fur to her shoulders and gave her a jacket along with changing her hairstyle in her alternative design. The only major thing I gave her are ice skater blades to her shoes

Acantha, design-wise, is based off of the sleeping beauty. At first, I did not have a real direction with what I wanted for the design; leading to me making various designs, in the end however I liked the middle on the best.

In the redesign, I chose to go with the middle sketch as a base to go off of; while sketching her out I add more flower theming with the sleeves puff, the base of her dress, and at the end of her sleeves. I also changed her tiara to be made out of thorns and pushed back the thorns to be on her hips. She was one of my favorite designs to make.

Lenora is one of the characters that I couldn't decide at first on the color palette before deciding on the first sketch. I made her a part of a group with Delilah and Serena.

In her redesign I decided to stick with the color palette of the first sketch. The main things I changed were her eye color, her crown, and the skirt of her dress. I really like the I idea of the clouds on her dress becoming 3-D and puffing more at the end, which I did play around with the mini sketches on the right.

Clara, unlike the others, is a past magical girl. Here current job has something to do with making more magical girls. Her first theme is based on an aurora, while her second theme being space.

In her redesign, I decided to change a lot from the original sketch. For her main design(right), I changed her eyes to be a night sky instead of a normal eye; Her hair was changed to be shorter but bigger at the end, with the inside having stars in it. I also changed her dress to get lighter at the end and changed her top to have a more unique cut. I completely changed her alternative to match with the main design, with it being more blue in color

Delilah is one of the characters designs that I really like. Originally one of the minor characters, she quickly became one of my favorite characters to draw.

Design wise, I didn't really change anything besides going with the first palette and making her hair curlier. In her alternate design I gave her green highlights to tied back to the other color palette. Lore wise, I decide to group her with Serena and Lenora.

Melissa is one of the minor characters I made. I decided to make her bee theme and gave her these little brass knuckles with spikes on the end to be like her stingers.

Design wise, I mainly tried to use warm yellows and browns in her pallet to tie back to bees and honey. With the original sketches, I like different aspects of each sketch, especially the last two, leading me to try to incorporate both in the redesign.

Madeleine is a minor character whose theme was a cake pop because at the time I was craving one. Around the time I first sketched out her designs I decided to try and stick with a small color palette. Out of the three created, my favorite was the last sketch, which Ii used in the redesign

In her redesign I moved up the slit to make her skirt flare more, I also added gloves and beads to represent sprinkles. I took away her ponytail and gave her a low bun. In her other outfit I tried to stick with the warmer colors of her palette, while also trying to stay away from the main pink used in her dress just so it didn't feel too matchy. Something I came up with is giving her a glass eye which is on her left (your right).

These two drawings were inspired by a couple of drawings I found on Pinterest where different characters cover up certain sections of the moon, making it look like different phases of the moon.

I originally wanted to do only Acantha with this idea because I thought it would look good and her connection with Clara. I then chose Melissa after liking how the first picture came out, because it would be a good contrast with the other picture; especially since I used lots of yellow in the background.

I made this drawing with the intent to make a speed paint out of it because I thought it would be easy to make without it becoming too long in time.  Despite this, it was originally over forty-seven minutes, before I sped it up.

This art was made at the beginning of the year when I was finishing the original sketches. This was one of my first attempts to having a background to my design and having my characters interact with it. Despite it being one of my early attempts, I really like how it came out.

This drawing was made in October when I decided to do another picture with multiple people in it.  I wanted to try and mess around with perspective es using different pen thickness. The drawing itself is Delilah and Serena in a section of a haunted house.
